Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also popularly known as Gugu - is a British stage and film actress. Her fame was boosted by appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who,' a British TV show that is a science fiction. Gugu was a huge success in the series as Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Her diagnosis was cancer of the breast in 1989. Handler was brought up in Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler was blessed with a joyful, healthy childhood in a good neighbourhood. As a teenager, she relocated from the city of Los Angeles, California to take on a profession in acting. Handler was a professional actress to assist her. Handler decided to concentrate on stand-up at the age of 21 when she recognized her story telling abilities. Handler began her career in her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with the use of a hidden camera/practical joke. It ran from 2002 to2005. Handler then started appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also an anchor for The Tonight Show. Handler gained notoriety in 2006 hosting her own E! show. named The Chelsea Handler Show. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years.
